Abstract

Modern full wave electromagnetic software has considerably speeded up the design of novel microwave filters and eliminating the prototyping stages. With this software, designing a small resonator is possible including the construction of filters from these resonators. Although the Q decreases with size, superconductors can overcome this limitation resulting in ultra small devices.
