Abstract
This paper details an investigation into the laser processing of timber-based fibreboard materials. Using an established experimental methodology developed to study the inter-relationship between and effects of varying laser set-up parameters, a database of cutting information has been developed specifically for the CO2 laser cutting of medium-density fibreboard.
