Abstract

Combined intro- and inter-configurational interaction matrices for all the states of t24 and t23e configurations are calculated in a strong cubic field scheme. They include electrostatic, spin-orbit and cubic field interactions. The matrices are used to analyse the absorption spectrum of Cs2ZrCl6:Os4+. © 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
