Formation of quartic solitons in silicon-based slot waveguides

Abstract

We investigate the possibility to excite the so-called quartic solitons (QS) in specially designed silicon based slot waveguides. The proposed waveguides exhibit ideal dispersion profile and realistic operational conditions to support true QS.
