Abstract
16-chip, 16-level phase-shifted superstructured fiber Bragg grating (SSFBG) encoder/decoder is reported for the first time. 10 Gbps, 8-user optical code-division-multipleaccess system has been demonstrated using hybrid 16×16 ports encoder/SSFBG decoder. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
