Abstract

In this paper, we report measurements for a microstructured fiber which displays an enhanced sensitivity to pressure. The pressure response of a length of this fiber is compared with SMF28 and with a finite element model of the fibers, which confirm the enhanced sensitivity. © 2005 IEEE.
