Abstract

A new generation of the fuel management avionic system is introduced. The idea comes from a European Community project. It implements a distributed control system using CAN bus as communication channel between components. The research proposal is to build smart components and to confirm the viability-reliability for real implementation. The paper describes the applied distributed control concepts, the experimental development and the results obtained in our laboratory prototype system.
