    Abstract

    Different methods for rehabilitation of existing masonry buildings with poor quality of construction in developing countries have been investigated.
    The weak point for the existing traditional masonry buildings investigated and feasibility of using the modern method such as FRP, post tensioning, steel tie beams, concrete tie beams, shotcrete on walls have been compared.
