Abstract

It is the purpose of this paper to extend the moment method analysis to a slot doublet based omnidirectional antenna array. The analysis proceeds by establishing a group of simultaneous integral equations for the solution of the tangential electric fields on the slot doublets, in which both internal and external mutual coupling between the slot doublets are incorporated. The formulation has been applied to the evaluation of the tangential electric field distribution in the slot doublets, the scattering parameters, the resonant properties in the presence of mutual coupling. The numerical results are in good agreement with experimental measurement.
