Abstract

We report an entanglement-based BBM92 quantum key distribution experiment using superconducting single photon detectors. A 16-kbit sifted key with a quantum bit error rate of 6.9% was successfully generated after 100 km fiber transmission. (35 words) @2008 Optical Society of America
