Abstract
Near-infrared quantum emitters have huge potentials in quantum technologies, especially for integrated photonics. By coupling PbS/CdS quantum dots to a CMOS-compatible epsilon-near-zero index substrate, we show improved emission directionality, increased saturation intensity and a 30-fold lifetime reduction, leading the way to advanced quantum optics applications.
