Abstract
We experimentally demonstrated novel compact optical devices to generate complex structured beams such as new vector vortex beams and 3D polarization structures without relying on the complicated optical setup and realize their multifaceted control. The unprecedented design degree of freedom of optical metasurfaces has provided a compact platform to develop ultrathin optical devices for generating complex structured beams.
