Abstract
In this work, complete Coulomb, spin-orbit and crystal-field interaction matrices were diagonalized within the f2 configuration, and electronic energy-level diagrams have been plotted for various relative strengths of the 4th order and 6th order crystal-field potentials. Crystal fields of both octrahedral and cubic symmetries have been considered. © 1970.
