Abstract

A new current excitation and measurement strategy for imaging the resistivity distribution of materials inside a process vessel having an electrically conducting boundary is presented. Excitation and measurement are performed between the process vessel itself and N electrically insulated metal electrodes mounted in the periphery of the process vessel. Consequently, a total of N(N-1)/2 unique measurements are obtained.
