    Abstract

This paper discuss an investigation on the stiffened and unstiffened girder supported steel shear wall subjected to monolitic in plane shear and to understand the behaviour. Finite element modeling was used for pushover analysis. aspect ratio, width to thickness effect were studied. Unstiffened one may be used for the rehabilitation and sesimic upgrading based on invetigated parameters.
