Abstract

Angiotensin II (Asp1, Val5) perfused through isolated flounder gils inhibited the transepithelial potential by up to 25 % at a concentration of 10e-9 M. There was no effect on gill haemodynamics and the subsequent response to 10e-5 M adrenaline was normal.
