Abstract

this paper describes the simulation model for the analysis of transmission of gasoil from storage tanks to ships which was developed to aid in discharging of gasoil with observing characteristics of pump station, whole fittings, vents and elbows which has effect on gasoil operation. The simulation models the current gasoil transferring operation, and a proposed different ways to increase flow rate of gasoil by Hysys and Pipesys software. Gasoil operation performance was measured under all proposed ways. After a discussion of the gasoil operation system, the paper presents the best model to have the best operation. To be exact, this paper discusses chosen issues in discharging of gasoil. It is noteworthy that the results of the model which were compared with the experimental data is shown in this paper.
