Abstract

This paper reviews some recently developed compact wideband bandpass filters based on the multilayer liquid crystal polymer technology, including multilayer lump-element bandpass filter, multilayer multiple-mode filter and multilayer lump-element-resonator bandpass filter. Miniature techniques using the multilayer topologies on multilayer liquid crystal polymer substrates are described with some examples, which can be explored for reducing the size of the modern high density communication systems.
