    Abstract

This paper concerns the simulation of pollutant transport in a small river, using a dynamic model. The aims of the study are (1) to describe the features of the developed concentration model; (2) to compare two approaches of parameterising the study site; (3) to propose a model for the evaluation of the velocity and dispersion coefficients, and (4) to present the results of the concentration model calibration and validation. © 2009 Elsevier B.V.
