Abstract

Tailored femtosecond pulses with fully engineered intensity and phase profiles are demonstrated using second-harmonic generation of an Enfiber laser in an aperiodically-poled lithium niobate crystal. The profiles created include square, stepped, double and triple pulses. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
