Abstract

This article introduces the law of companies in Malaysia. It encapsulates the enactment of the Companies Act 2016 that replaces the previous 1965 Act, explains different methods of business trading, the concept of limited liability and the doctrine of sperate legal entity. The writing of this article employs the hermeneutics analysis of relevant legislation(s). It provides a quick and simplified reference for students and non-practitioner.
