Abstract

The authors have studied a coplanar power splitter. The device was etched on a single sided RT/duroid 6010. Results of insertion loss are presented. This balanced structure presents an insertion loss value of 0.2dB plus 3dB splitting loss at 1.15GHz without any airbridges. Measurement results seem attractive to the design of coplanar instantaneous frequency measurement subsystem (IFMS).
