Abstract

To achieve social sustainability, we need to focus on building strong relationships between individuals, communities, and institutions. This can be done by encouraging participation in decision-making processes, supporting local businesses and economies, and promoting cultural awareness and respect. By doing so, we can create a society that is resilient, cohesive, and supportive of one another. We have covered a variety of topics, providing needed knowledge, hands-on practical content, usable examples, sharing best and leading practices in the field, and suggested ways of how to get started. Social sustainability requires us to think beyond environmental concerns and consider the well-being of people within our communities. By prioritizing social sustainability alongside economic and environmental sustainability, we can build a brighter future for all.
