Abstract
In this final short chapter, we discuss and offer some concluding thoughts on the implications for research and practice emerging from the contributions presented in this volume. Of course, we do not pretend that it is wholly comprehensive in terms of the range of important aspects which could be considered in relation to children; however, it does reflect at least a sample of the work being done at the present time.
