Abstract
This short communication presents a comparison of extant empirical work for the CO2 laser cutting of Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA). Results are plotted in the form of cutting speed versus material thickness from a range of sources. The work concludes with briefly discussing some of the key factors in processing PMMA by CO2 laser.
