Abstract

Reaction of [MCl(CO)35-C5H 5)] (M = Mo or W) with acetylenes affords the 16-electron species [MCl-(RC2R)25-C5H 5)]; structurally characterised by X-ray crystallography, and shown to react with donor ligands and with TlC5H5.
