Abstract
The dissociative charge-transfer of H2O with H2+ has been examined at H2+ translational energies from 600 to 5000 eV. The electron-transfer reaction produces H2O+ ions in specified electronic states and the probability of forming these states varies with the reactant ion translational energy. The H2O+B~ state undergoes curve crossing to give OH+ but not to give O+ product ions. © 1979.
