Capacitively loaded microstrip loop resonator

A novel capacitively loaded microstrip loop resonator has been developed. It has been shown theoretically and experimentally that the novel resonator has not only a smaller size, but also a higher Q factor as compared with the conventional halfwavelength resonator.
