Abstract

A pattern reconfigurable Yagi-Uda antenna operating at 2.45 GHz is proposed. Two modes are presented and are synthesized using slits and diodes. The antenna operates as a bi-directional receiver when switches are 'off' and as a directional transmitter when switches are 'on' or vice versa.
