Abstract
A new calix[4]arene-supported MnIIIMnII cluster, formed by the introduction of 3,5-dichlorobenzoate to a system known to afford MnIII 2MnII 2 Single-Molecule Magnets (SMMs), assembles in a layered manner through halogen interactions; structural and magnetic properties of this new cluster are presented.
