Abstract

The method outlined in this paper should allow a user to take raw data from appropriate laser cutting tests and convert it into a data file suitable for incorporation into a laser cutting database. A range of parametric equations are presented which can be used to empirically model the behaviour of the key cutting parameters. Sample results are given for stainless steel 304.
