The teaching and learning modularity in the higher education environment of business and management studies are of the view that there has to be a linkage between institutional work‐experience and classroom educational instruction. The teaching value of supervised industrial work‐experience has become an important component of well‐planned teaching environment of the operation management studies in most universities (Eze 1985, Woolard 2018). Recently, Higher education teaching models opened new line of teaching and learning researches relating to the analysis of teacher and student engagement and experiences within the learning management systems(LMSs) (Woolard 2018, Khalil and Ebner 2015).In order for higher education scholars to search for patterns that improve the modules teaching delivery and student engagement, they record students’ collaborative activity of the e-learning platforms to allow for enabling the exploration of events generated in the use of LMS tools. According to teaching and learning scholars, there are a need for designing new e-learning techniques and teaching methodologies to explore and select the necessary data from the LMS, according to the educational goals that need to be achieved (De Freitas and Bernard 2017, Özdağoğlu, Öztaş and Çağliyangil 2018).
