Abstract
The absence of sources in complete background domains causes the non-scattering property of such scenarios (free propagation). Developing this consideration to extremes based on its vector nature, a Source Cloaking Equation (SCE) is derived, supporting the design of exotic electromagnetic responses for cloaking devices. A numerical example demonstrates how solutions of the SCE show a non-scattering behaviour: possible implementations with metasurfaces are suggested.
