57 channel (19x3) spatial multiplexer fabricated using direct laser inscription

We present a 57 channel spatial multiplexer consisting of 19 separate 3-port photonic lanterns arranged in a hexagonal array. An average insertion loss of 0.92 dB was measured across all ports with 0.1 dB uniformity.
