As the Impact Coach Lead for HWUM’s Empower Programme, I facilitate the Impact Statement Workshops, a transformative 4-week initiative designed to help students discover their personal purpose and articulate a meaningful impact statement. Each workshop typically engages 10 to 15 students, allowing for meaningful interaction and personalised coaching. In this role, I support and mentor co-impact coaches while promoting a collaborative coaching environment. I have introduced innovative and evidence-based coaching techniques that have significantly enhanced student engagement, reflection, and learning outcomes. My coaching approach is dynamic, tailored, and student-centred, ensuring that every coachee receives support aligned with their unique goals and challenges. In 2024, I was Nominated by student coachees and selected by the Heriot-Watt Oscar Committee from 10 Impact Coach Leads, in recognition of outstanding mentorship and support in guiding students to develop their personal impact statements.
