Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor and the course leader of Computing at the Global College, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. Prior to this, I served as a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the International Study Centre of Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, UK, from October 2021 to November 2022. I also held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Engineering and Environment at Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. From 2016 to 2019, I was a senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Al-Madinah International University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, which I obtained in 2017 from the Wireless Communication Lab at the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I also earned an M.Eng.Sc. degree from the University of Malaya in 2010 and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from IBB University, Yemen, in 2003.
