Biography
Dr. Lee Weng Nam is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, specializing in materials chemistry. His research focuses on bio-based liquid crystals, green chemistry, with applications in nanostructure engineering and biomaterials. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and is actively involved in curriculum development, alongside his role as a programme director, Dr. Lee has also served as a Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry examiner, reviewer for Royal Society of Chemistry and received the Best Lecturer Award in 2016/2017, highlighting his dedication to education and mentorship
