Biography

Dr. Lee Weng Nam is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, specializing in materials chemistry. His research focuses on bio-based liquid crystals, with applications in nanostructure engineering and biomaterials. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and is actively involved in curriculum development, alongside his role as a course coordinator, Dr. Lee has also served as a Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry examiner, reviewer for Royal Society of Chemistry and received the Best Lecturer Award in 2016/2017, highlighting his dedication to education and mentorship​
