Personal profile

Biography

I'm an Assistant Professor in Economics. My research lies in industrial organisation. My work is how firms set prices when market structure, regulation, and consumer heterogeneity constrain their behaviour. The common thread in my research agenda is that price levels alone rarely reveal the relevant economic mechanism. My work therefore focuses on the structure of prices: relative prices, discounts, pass-through, margins, price dispersion, and the way these outcomes change when competition or policy changes.

Research interests

My research interests are Empirical Industrial Organisation, Public Economics, and Applied Microeconometrics.
