Biography
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of St. Andrews (2011), an MSc in Human-Centred Interactive Technologies from the University of York (2012), an MSc by Research in Computer Science (University of York 2014), and successfully defended my PhD at The Open University in 2018.
My general research interests are within the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), focusing on technology assisted healthcare, novel ways of augmenting traditional rehabilitation of physical and neurological conditions (such as hemiparetic stroke), using prototype wearable, holdable, and ubiquitous devices, and/or facilitated by robotic agents. Applications for these prototypes include independent home rehabilitation guidance, and monitoring of activities of daily living as health and recovery indicators.
