Research interests

My research has focussed on the safety implications of: operator workload attentional distraction task autonomy, and task conflict. Much of this has been undertaken in the context of the car and truck users. Recently, I have been working on the issues associated with ‘social’ distractions in the vehicle, and opportunities to encourage safe and efficient driving.

Biography

Terry is a Human Factors lecturer in the School of Life Sciences. Terry was previously a senior researcher with the Transport Research Laboratory at Crowthorne. He has experience of research and project management in numerous European, Health & Safety Executive, Scottish Executive, Department for Transport, and research council-funded projects.

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
