Biography

I currently serve as an Assistant Professor and Director for the MA Accountancy and MA Accountancy and Finance programmes within the Department of Accounting, Economics, Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom. I am also the PGR lead for Accountancy in the department. Prior to joining Heriot-Watt University, I served as a Lecturer in the Accounting Department at Abertay University in Dundee. During this period, I held leadership roles, including leading research seminars and workshops within the School of Business, Law, and Social Science. I also served as Deputy Lead of the Sustainable Development & Inclusive Living Challenge Space, where I contributed significantly to advancing the university's research initiatives in sustainability and inclusivity.

I have also mentored and supervised staff, postgraduate research students, and undergraduate students, ensuring their success and well-being throughout their academic and professional journeys. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Centre for Social and Economic Data Analytics (CSEDA) at Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom.
