As a lecturer and researcher, my focus spans Deaf Studies, the Sociology of Work, Entrepreneurship Studies, Disability Studies, and Gender Studies. My research centres on the everyday lived experiences and navigational strategies of deaf people and other minoritised groups, as well as on the ethics and dilemmas that arise in interactions between minorities and majorities.
