Biography
Megan McGraw is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, where she teaches Social Science Research Methods. Her research focuses on workplace wellbeing, particularly within healthcare environments. Her previous research involved collaborating with Nuffield Health and conducting a large-scale qualitative study with more than 800 healthcare workers to collect their views on what constitutes their own wellbeing and used this to inform the selection of a wellbeing measure and intervention for a pre-post feasibility study. The outcome of these studies was a greater understanding of healthcare worker wellbeing and factors which influence the success of interventions in this environment. She has previously worked as a Lecturer in Health and Social Care and recently worked in industry designing workplace wellbeing measures and training as well as conducting research on emerging trends in this area.
