Luciana started her PhD in Business Management at the University of Aberdeen in September 2018 and is a holder of the Elphinstone Scholarship 2018 and British Federation of Women Graduates funding 2020. Her research investigates Intelligent Automation systems (including AI, RPA and chatbots) and their relation to organisational behaviour, reuniting findings from science and technology studies, business management and computing science. Her work uses qualitative and basic quantitative research methods to explore emerging behaviours and understandings of technology from the perspective of stakeholders within and outside the organisation.

Luciana has participated in course management teams for organisational management, international business, economics and marketing courses. She has delivered guest lectures, seminars and conferences in the UK, Taiwan, US and Australia. She has worked in the public, private and third sectors, particularly in the areas of HR training and development, customer service, communications, and event management.

Luciana also has experience in consulting projects and case competition coaching for Business Management students, supporting the development of students through bespoke training programmes and organizing industry talks.
