Personal profile

Profile Summary

I am an interdisciplinary geoscientist specialising in the science and governance of nature-based solutions. My research focusses on evaluating the effectiveness of these approaches in the land and water sectors, and engaging with policy makers at local to international levels to enhance policy impact. This work has been influential in the development of global policies to reduce emissions from deforestation (REDD+) and in the implementation of natural flood management.

For past work on REDD+ see: https://odi.org/en/profile/leo-peskett/
