Research interests

 Main research interests primarily focus on fishing gear technology, fisheries sustainability. This includes such topics as reduction of bycatches and improvement in size selectivity in fisheries. Other aspects include estimations of fisheries related marine plastic pollution and continuous capture of marine animals by abandoned, lost or otherwise discarded fishing gear (also called “ghost fishing”.
