Biography
Dr. Dadzie is currently an Associate Professor within the School of Engineering & Physical Sciences. He completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Aix-Marseille University (France), following an MSc (DEA) in Fluid Mechanics from Pierre & Marie-Curie University in Paris (France), and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Lomé (Togo). Subsequently, he was a Research Fellow at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and a Senior Lecturer at Wrexham University (North Wales, UK).
Research interests
My research focuses on the fundamental, theoretical, and computational modelling of various flow systems. I investigate compressible flow, such as hydrogen combustion. I also conduct research on micro- and nanoscale flow simulations that can be applied in water transport processes, environmental flow control, and disease control in the human body (simulations of flow in microvessels). One of my most significant projects involved ameliorating the most fundamental fluid flow modelling equations (the Navier-Stokes equations) to improve their predictions in nonlocal equilibrium simulations https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/2399-6528/adb82f
