Biography

I am the Associate Professor and the Head of School for School of Social Sciences and Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University, Malaysia. I have been teaching for more than a decade in Accounting and Finance courses. I completed my Doctorate Degree in 2019.  In 2018, I became the lifelong member of Malaysian Society For Higher Education Policy and Research Development (PenDaPaT) that aims to provide informed feedback and suggestion toward issues regarding the national higher education policies and practices. I am currently serving as Treasurer of PenDaPaT. 

Research interests

My research is primarily concerned with accounting within the performance measurement context and L&T Pedagogy. I am particularly interested in studying the phenomena commercialisation of R&D outputs in the Higher Education Institutions. I contributed to the policy for Higher Education on commercialisation of R&D outputs in Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities

My teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and postgraduate for Accounting and Finance courses.
