Research interests
My interests are in the Financial Markets. The cycle of booms and busts in the history of the stock market and what is it that drive the markets to peaks and troughs. The markets are very dynamic, but lessons can be learned from studying the past. I am also interested in the structure of the financial markets, via the Financial Services Sector course, which examines financial centres and the institutions that make up the financial services sector, which is so important to the UK economy.
I am also interested in Personal Finance, which is a key course that helps build financial literacy in students. There is overlap here from the other finance courses.
